Marvin Gaye was really hip (1971) to the link between human health and planetary health when he recorded The Ecology aka Mercy Mercy Me for he knew that when one is suffering, so is the other. Environmental justice and social justice are not separate issues. In case you're in doubt, cast your mind back to Hurricane Katrina (2005) and think about the folks without the means to flee the devastation, insure their homes and access capital in times of emergency.
